Hello Vlad,
I would like to realize the automatic speedbrakes/spoilers with a servo. I can't find a selection for "Speed_Brake_Motor" in the configurator.  I only find the parameter "LED - Select Output or LED Driver -->" (LED Driver). Nothing for the servo.
Can you help me please?
Merry Christmas

Hi Frank,
Please see the Flight Control section again - I have added some text there.
The LED is Digital Output.  If you will have questions - ask more.

Hi Vlad,
yes that is a possibility I have to consider.
In my Throttle Quadrant from Cockpitsonic is just already a servo installed. I would have liked to use it.
Is there nothing you can do via the servo board?
Does not have to be immediately. I would like to wait for it, should it also be possible with the servo.

Frank,

This method has been implemented in SimVim from the very beginning, is simple to make and reliable.
The small DC motor has gears and its output shaft is simply connected to the lever (no need to have any clutch).

If the speed brake was ARMED before landing, SimVim  activates the MOTOR ON signal the moment the aircraft touches ground. When the brake become fully extended, the output deactivates the motor, after 1-2 seconds, and the motor stops (but for some guarantee you can add an end-switch in the extend position).

With servo it will be much more problematic - the return back, the need for some clutch...
If you can easily move the lever with servo OFF, it can be used too, just need to calibrate it from 0 to 1.

This method was tested and works excellent.

OK Vlad,
you have convinced me.
I will take out the servo and install a DC motor.
Thanks for the advice.
