Hello Vlad and Roman,

I am building a C172 G1000 cockpit and now working on the backup instruments. You replied to someone trying to build them with X27 steppers :

« Dan, don't you even think about implementing 3 backup gauges with SimVimPanel program, using the small LCD with Raspberry ? ... »

Completely agree with you! This is what I'm going to do, but I have a few questions:

- how to put only 2 instruments on the 7 inch LCD screen knowing that the basicSix includes 6 and that you only need the first 3
- do you have any 4-5 inch LCD screen references if we want a "raspberry-one screen-one instrument-one"?

Another point, on the website, you indicate in the PANELS Instrument collection section: « This is current instrument collection for SimVIm panels … These instruments can be used to arrange new specific SimVIm panel and any single instrument can be used as replacement for instrument on existed panel.»

- How do we replace or add these instruments on the existing panels or on a new panel ?
Thank you for your answers, and again for your work and mostly your sharing.

Best regards
Serge

Serge,

Since we do not have some kind of "panel constructor" currently, you can either use one of the available panels, or ask to arrange the panel with the gauges that you want to display on one screen. You can select the available gauges, then we will add the panel to the list. Thus, 1-2 "backup" mini-panels will be added to the downloads section.

The SimVimPanel program will continue to develop, this will be one of the main directions of the project.
