I've already built a FMC with screen displayed on 5" display with RPi 4. I want to build a G1000 (GDU 040) also displayed on the RPi. But... the module of G1000 (.SIM file) doesn't exist.

Vlad/Roman: can you please give me instructions/information of how to create a .SIM file.

I have experience in programming and CAM design.

Thanks and best regards.

Sam,
As the  SimVimPanel program is designed to program all the logic of "stand-alone" instruments, so to make the G1000 this way you need to write all GDU modes, screens, maps and logic from scratch. It can be done, but it need a lot of time and no need, because for G1000 the only the "drag-n-drop" screens of the X-Plane are used, as it is described here:
https://realsimcontrol.com/tips_gps.html
https://realsimcontrol.com/tips_g1000.html

You only need to assign all buttons in HCSCI and drag the screens.
